This project was for a digital fabrication elective. The aim was to design, build and finish a camera so that it looks and interacts like a real product
The final result features a magnetically removable flash, buttons, dials and knobs that function, click and turn when interacted with.
The camera also has printed graphics on the front and back to mimic the lens and the display screen
Camera assembly prior to painting. Consists of FDM and SLA printed parts, as well as circuit board buttons, magnets and ball detents.
